OVERVIEW OF THE LEAGUES
Registration
deadlines are Feb 15th and July 15th of each year.
On the table below, locate the type of Softball League you would like to participate in, and click on it for more information and to download the Team Registration Form. The Team Registration Forms are in the Adobe Acrobat Portable Document File (PDF) format. If you do not have the Acrobat Reader plug-in for your browser, click on the yellow logo underneath all the links to the left. These PDF files can be printed on any printer with good results. After you print one out, just fill in the blanks and mail it to the address indicated. We provide a 12 game series with a Single Elimination / Top 4 Final Playoff. Returning teams not paying by the registration deadline can be dropped from the league with new teams that have met the deadline requirement.
The
Men's Program
offers
several skill levels from "B" (most competitive)
to "D" (most recreational). These leagues play
Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday Evenings at Hourglass
Community Park (located at the Miramar Junior College).
Our Co-Ed Program is located at Canyonside Park (located at Mercy Road and Black Mountain Rd.) and Leagues are offered Wednesday (Lower), Thursday (Upper), Friday and 3 divisions on Sunday evenings "C","D","E". We have an excellent Women's 3-pitch League and it is offered Tuesday evenings at Canyonside. Sunday mornings at Mira Mesa Recreation Center (8575 New Salem Court) we offer a Men's 9 inning Slo-Pitch League with Upper and Lower Divisions and all teams participating in the playoffs. During the playoffs, the league hosts an all you can eat and drink hamburger and hot dog picnic for the players and their families. This year-end finale is included in the league fee. GAME TIMES:
During the week, all games start at 6:30 PM, 7:45 PM, 9:00 PM.
Canyonside game times are
6:30 PM, 7:40 PM and 8:50 PM.
Mira Mesa Recreation Center Sunday games start at 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM and Noon.
All
Umpires are paid $12.00 per game per team on the field.
Rainouts are made up at the end of the season (time permitting). |
