Competitive softball player new to San Diego

I just moved to San Diego from Atlanta, GA a month
ago. I used to play slo-pitch softball all year round
on a variety of teams. I am 33 years old and have
played softball since my freshman year in college (15
years now), where I transitioned from a seasoned
baseball player in high-school.

I’ve played on C, D, and co-ed teams, and have also
played in statewide tournaments. I could play in
men's B and even A leagues, however my forte is not
hitting 4 home runs in a game. I tend to not enjoy
home-run fests.

I provide a team with a lot of speed and a batting
average that always ends the season around .667. My
best position is the outfield, however I am 6’1” and
can play first base as well.

I can play weeknights and/or Sundays, however Friday evenings are out for me. I’m also usually good for a few beers afterwards.

i have a wed. night men's slo-pitch league that is starting tomorrow night. i have had a couple of guys drop out due to work obligations or injuries. i may need a 1st baseman but you'd have to be flexible and willing to maybe play some in the outfield or possibly 2B if necessary.

if you are interested, you could try out this sunday. we play pick up games at robb field in point loma/ocean beach on sundays at 2pm. contact me if you are interested and i will give you directions.

Thanks for considering me, but Point Loma/Ocean Beach is just too far for me. I'm looking for leagues around the Mira Mesa/Poway/Kearney Mesa area. Good luck in flagging a team, and I hope people get healed up quick!

the wed. league is in kearny mesa at the kearny mesa rec. center.

Hey there. Where is the Kearney Mesa recreation center? I have to understand the location before committing to an evening softball league.
